The Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette is new this fall and has twelve beautiful eyeshadow colours to choose from. Eight are very neutral in shade and four of those do have a bit of color which helps bring out your natural look. The rest of this paletee has six permanent colour shades, one shade which has been revived from previous promoted versions and five exciting new shades.
This eyeshadow palette includes a double ended eyeliner as well as ‘Zero’, which is a basic cream black with matte finish. Now for those who collect Urban Decay palettes you’ve probably got lots of Zero eyeliners. But as a nice bonus the palette contains ‘Whiskey’ which is a brand new shade. Whiskey is a cream chocolate brown with lovely red undertones. If you’re familiar with the Bourbon shade then you will find it quite similar to that but somewhat lighter and without the shimmer.
As far as eyeshadow palettes go this one is beautifully packaged in a velvet-chocolate brown covering. It looks sleek and very sophisticated. This is probably one of the classiest eye makeup products Urban Decay has launched. The feel is all luxury which is not standard for Urban Decay. This is palette is also priced just right and is an excellent value. The palette contains twelve .05 ounce eyeshadows, two .02 ounce eyeliners plus a pint sized Eye Primer. One thing to watch out for when you purchase this is to make sure you actually get the primer. It’s not inside the palette so it will either be attached or given to you separately at the time of purchase. The real deal when it comes to value is the 12 full sized eyeshadows. Yup, it’s true you get 12 eyeshadows which would have a value of $17 when sold individually. Do the math and you’ll discover that’s over $200 bucks worth of eyeshadow.
Without a doubt this is Urban Decay’s best eyeshadow palette ever. The combination of high quality eyeshadows priced at less than $50 is almost too good to be true. Every shade is soft, smooth, and the colours rich in pigment. For those who already have an eyeshadow palette or two you may be thinking you have enough colour to choose from but trust me there are plenty of new colours to make the addition of the Urban Decay Naked to your Basic Makeup Kit well worth your while.
